This collection was inspired by my friend Duo, whose calm yet curious spirit guided both the mood and functionality of the designs. We both admired light artists Robert Irwin and James Turrell—whose work influenced the color palette, spatial rhythm, and emotional subtlety of this collection.

I explored the interplay between softness and structure: translating the ephemeral quality of light into clothing through draped forms, translucent layers, and directional lines. Duo’s casual sensibility brought a grounding element to the silhouettes, introducing versatility and ease into the designs.

While I considered incorporating Robert Irwin’s bold stripes directly through fabric manipulation, I ultimately leaned into Duo’s quiet simplicity. The result is a balance—between lightness and presence, softness and strength—echoing the sensory calm found in Turrell’s illuminated spaces.
